These cartridges reflect what the Vaquero’s would have carried from 1874 – 1895, especially the famous Trenty-Trenty (Spanish for 30-30) chambered in the Marlin 1893.
One of Ruger’s best selling handguns is the Vaquero, their version of the Colt Single Action Army.
One out of every three cowboys were Mexican Vaquero’s. We see the rich history throughout our southwest as their influence touched our culture from cattle drives to dance and food.
